Chemba puttu podi (Kerala Red rice Powder Puttu Podi / ചെമ്പ പുട്ടു പൊടി ) is prepared from selected red rice. The steamed chemba puttu podi is processed under hygienic condition . This flour is very soft in texture.
Cooking procedure: Mix chemba puttu podi with sufficient water and salt and keep for 10 minutes,prepare puttu for adding required quantity of coconut scrapings in steam for 5 minutes. Chemba puttu is now ready to eat.
Chemba Puttu can be served with plantain / curry / chutney / with sugar. Can be used as healthy breakfast item.
