Cocopeat is a natural multipurpose plant growing medium. It is extensively used as a soil-less growing medium to produce high yielding quality vegetables and cut flowers. These are in increased demand instead of potting soil, rock wool and peat moss. The fibrous contents will hold more air pockets and gives the plants an added advantage in more aggressive and widespread rooting. From a single 4.5kg coco peat briquette immersed in 25 litres of water for 10 minutes, will derive up to 60-65kgs of moisturised coir powder.
